The NDCS is setting up an exciting new deaf young people’s advisory board. This is like a group that helps us find out what deaf young people want and need. They want Deaf young people l to come along and share their ideas with other deaf people.NDCS yay...
"Yup, you might go to school, work, party or see your friends. This is all a lot of fun. Perhaps there’s some stuff that you want to change. Perhaps you think deaf young people need something more. Or you might have some seriously cool stuff to talk about.
Go on, have a look for what we are offering you...It’ll be a weekend away in London. You’ll get to meet other deaf young people and get free food. It won’t be drop-dead-fall-sleep boring. We’ll get to do lots of games and activities."
A no brainer we reckon.
You don’t have to have done something like this before. It might be really good for padding your CV.
Download the flyer and application form and you are away. Also check out the video in BSL on this page (it's next to this story)
PS: By the way, if you have a good idea of what your perfect school would be, the Guardian newspaper wants to know. Just email them at school.i'
